Mai is the sweetest, most kind, and helpful grocer I have ever dealt with, and carries an astonishing amount of food products in her relatively small grocery store. She also has souvenirs, candy, and housewares. Both her and her daughter will take time to explain any questions you may have. Great prices also.
Mai is phenomenal. She is so very helpful with finding the perfect ingredients and she stocks a surprising selection of foods at a great price. Today, she helped me with tea for pain relief with herbs and massage oil. We talked for about an hour. She is a treasure. Amazing character and service. Definitely a place to visit.

She seems very ethical and is very friendly and knowledgeable. This September will be 30 years of business and I’m amazed I’ve only just found her. Customer for life! Thank you Mai!!
Such a cute little store. So many items that you never see in other stores, especially really specific ingredients needed for Asian cooking. I loved all of the Japanese dishes and knick knacks that they had as well. Pricing is reasonable, especially for the hard-to-find items. Found a huge bag of MSG - didn't even know they had it like that, great find! Come here and support this awesome local small business.
